• Is suited to the job position for which you are applying
• Is free of all spelling mistakes
• Represents the facts (no lies or exaggerations)
• Is concise and efficient: 1 to 1 1/2 page maximum with precise words and action verbs!
• Is original without being over the top. A clear and concise resume is more likely to catch the eye of a future employer.
• Has the same font throughout.

What if you do not yet have any work experience?

Mention your volunteer work, the sports teams for which you play, the school committees in which you participate, any babysitting jobs you may have had... anything that can highlight your commitment and responsibility for the job!
